“La Shamiana Dharamshala – Inn for Spiritual Travelers” is the residential quarter in Anand Ashram Ubud–Bali. Our endeavor is to offer services to all Genuine Seekers of spirituality – who are truly keen upon working on their own “selves” to find the source of Anand-Bliss within. As such, Ashram may not be a suitable place for those looking for accommodation alone.
Every Genuine Ashram follows a certain Mandala or Energy Grid beneficial to all those who visit the ashram, both as casual visitors as well as spiritual pilgrims to spend some time in the ashram. We are sure as Sadhakas or Genuine Spiritual Seekers you understand and appreciate this.
As such, while staying in the ashram, we request you to attend and actively participate in the sadhana or daily spiritual practices as indicated on this site. We further request you to help in creating and maintaining togetherness by refraining from practices which may separate you from other members of the mandala, like keeping silent during active meditations or vice versa.

- The accommodation cost is non-refundable and must be paid in advance for the entire stay.

- Dress modestly and soberly, in a way that shows respect for the tradition of Ashram life, covering shoulders, midriff, and ankles.
